There’s an App for That

The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter has an app (apple, android) that lets you live stream Mass from three different FSSP churches around the globe. They have the same functionality on the web (along with a not-nearly-as-helpful-as-it-might-be widget for converting to local time).

At least in a browser, the video from Florida is only a real-time stream. The ones from Germany and Mexico (scroll down to the bottom and click the location for the pages for those feeds) appear to have the most recent Mass cached for on-demand viewing.

  1. I can get streams in a web browser from the Fribourg and Guadalajara videos right now, with sound on each. In a browser, the video has a volume control on the lower right-hand corner. The app may have a different interface, and differences in browsers or phone operating systems may affect how the video window displays.
