The third Sunday in Advent saw the first use of the parish’s new rose vestments. Gammarelli’s maniples are a tad fiddly, but I think they turned out quite nicely. We dropped off over 9 yards of rose-colored silk at Gammarelli’s last Wednesday. Cope, chasuble, maniple, two stoles, and probably a little bit left over have been paid for and should be done in June or July. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed.
The Church of the Assumption, where Bishop Choby has so graciously facilitated the unusually generous offering of the Traditional Latin Mass, is still trying to build a proper collection of vestments.
